Kayla’s Bio
At Small Steps Finance, I serve as a financial coach currently pursuing my Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification. My role involves helping clients address their immediate money challenges, creating personalized plans to achieve their unique goals and dreams, and building sustainable foundations for long-term financial well-being. I am dedicated to empowering individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate their financial journeys with confidence.
In addition to my role at Small Steps Finance, I am a professor of criminology specializing in quantitative methodology. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the profound impact that poverty, poor financial management, and lack of financial education can have on criminal behavior. This experience fuels my passion for making financial literacy, knowledge, and practical application accessible to everyone. I am committed to transforming lives by providing the financial skills necessary to break cycles of poverty and promote stability and success.
